First though, let me share a little bit about myself and the women above. I met them via Twitter and they are both so great! In fact, Holly's having an awesome giveaway right now - a PR package valued at $250! You should definitely enter here.
I have guest blogged on both of their blogs as well. I'll mention those later. I love to write and have edited two books and have a passion for crafting. That's where always B designs was born from. I stay busy all the time and am now even the Texas Coordinator for Mommy Bag Marketing, a great way for Christian businesses to connect with Christian moms.
So here are the two exciting pieces of news I had to share:
- Remember I mentioned guest blogging? Well, when I guest blogged at The Work at Home Woman, I wrote about finding your niche. Once you do that, you might need business cards, so I'm doing a giveaway! You can enter to win 250 free business cards! (see at end of post on how to enter)
- And the blog on Living My MoMent? That was on my journey to mommyhood and the struggle I've had to have a baby. At the time I wrote it, I was going through infertility treatments. And now... I'm pregnant! You're the first (non-family) to know! I probably should wait until I'm further along, but how perfect is it that I just found out in time for my day on the blog tour? :)
So, it was great 'meeting' all of you!
Here's how to enter the giveaway: (do at least one, and each entry should be a seperate comment) Giveaway ends May 26th. :)

ReplyDeleteAdvice on pregnancy...mmmm....being a mom...I am still waiting to adopt my first baby girl, but as a woman who can't get pregnant, my advice would be Soak it UP! All of it. Every moment. Even the annoying and uncomfortable ones. You are pregnant. Be thankful.
I am a new follower!!!
ReplyDeleteLiving in Taradise - THANK YOU! I just added SITS and it's been a great thing! Glad you are a follower.
ReplyDeleteAs for the mommy advise, thank you. I am happy for you that you are adopting - not everyone would. We've been battling infertility since 2008 when we miscarried with our first child during Hurricane IKE and at 8 weeks. Very frustrating. So, I will enjoy this, even the not so good moments.

ReplyDeleteI'm here from the Summer Blog Tour. Congratulations on being pregnant! I have two little ones. My advice to you is to cherish each moment -- even the ones that have you wondering if you will get through the day. Cherish each snuggle, sloppy kiss, and milestone -- because it goes too quickly.

Oh Angela! Congrats that is such exciting news! I am so happy for you!
ReplyDeletePregnancy Advice: Indulge in manicures, pedicures and sleeping late now, because once the little one comes there won't be much time for those activities.

Angela!! Whoo Hoo girl, congrats!! I am soo excited for you.
ReplyDeleteOkay, my best pregnancy advice?
1. Find a MOPS group www.mops.org as soon as possible and get plugged in. Other Moms will love to walk this road with you.
2. Keep saltines & water on your bed side table and eat a few before your feet hit the ground in the morning. It will keep morning sickness at bay, hopefully!
Already follow you on Twitter, Facebook & the blog.
And I just tweeted about the giveaway, can you tell I want to win??!!

ReplyDeletebeing pregnant - enjoy it. Even the sickness. Just enjoy it. It means you're growing a life and the times passes by so quickly.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your pregnancy!! My advice: Be sure to find a doctor or midwife who you trust and who you feel comfortable asking anything. Then, be sure to ask all those questions (even if you think they're silly or insignificant). A good doctor/midwife will be used to it and is there to keep you healthy, calm, and sane!
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the Summer Tour. Oh, Angela, as one who suffered 8 years of infertility and miscarriages, CONGRATulations!! I'm so happy for you. I know you'll already appreciate your pregnancy more b/c of your struggle. My advice? Don't get too hung up on the details of your nursery (pink, blue, green?) or giving birth (natural, C-section, etc) b/c sometimes you'll just have to roll with what happens. My son looked terrible in the green onesies (switched to red, blue, or white immed). And I was terribly against having a C-section and it ended being the best thing for my baby (emergency). ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! As someone that has had infertility as well, try not to stress over every little thing. From scanning TP for spots or wondering did I feel the little one move like I was supposed. Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nicole, Brenda, and Holly! I appreciate everyone's thoughts. You are right, the infertility journey isn't fun. And, I just found out today that we are losing the baby. :(
ReplyDeleteDoing alright considering,
Angela
